Monthly bundle plus VAT and withholding-tax forms for the accountant
Estimated from iReadCustomer’s own day-to-day use
Input-VAT claim judged apart from tax deductibility
Self-assessed VAT, converted to THB at Bank of Thailand rates
Akon AI is iReadCustomer’s internal bookkeeping tool for Thai tax. It collects purchase receipts, tax invoices, transfer slips and billing emails from software and cloud vendors, and checks each one against Thai VAT, withholding-tax and corporate income tax evidence rules — giving every document separate verdicts for input VAT and for tax deductibility, and flagging VAT due on foreign services under P.P.36. At month end it prepares the document bundle and the VAT and withholding-tax forms for the company’s accountant. An AI Assistant can review and label the books, but any change it proposes runs only after the user approves it.
iReadCustomer is VAT-registered and outsources its bookkeeping, and we found two quiet leaks. Foreign software and cloud subscriptions require the company to self-assess 7% VAT and file P.P.36 by the 7th of the following month. And input VAT is lost when someone pays out of pocket and the tax invoice carries their own name — fixable only while the vendor can still be reached. The evidence arrived late and scattered, so by the time anyone noticed, the month was already closed.

Rather than asking an AI whether a document “passes”, we wrote the tax rules as code first and used AI only where judgement helps — with a person approving every change.
Input-VAT, withholding and deductibility rules live in one place in the code, each citing the Revenue Department manual or the Revenue Code section, with tests pinning every case in the table.
The team drops receipt photos in chat, attaches transfer slips or fills a web form, and vendor billing emails are pulled in automatically — no new habits required.
A To-do page gathers every open item — money and deadlines, evidence to chase, data to complete — each one a click from being handled.
The Assistant reads, reviews and labels the books with exactly the signed-in user’s permissions. Any change is proposed as a Plan the user approves first, and every change is logged.
Akon AI is the system iReadCustomer runs its own tax bookkeeping on every day, and the AI Assistant is live in production.
Each line shows both verdicts — claimable input VAT and tax deductibility — with the reason.
The team sees what each document is still missing on one page, and can chase it while the vendor is reachable.
The Assistant proposes labels and fixes as a Plan; nothing changes until the user approves it.
At month end the system prepares the document bundle and the VAT and withholding-tax forms for the accountant.
